Li Huifen, coach of the women's table tennis team of Hong Kong, China, said
she's pleased with the silver medal won by her players in the women's doubles
event Wednesday in the Asian Games.
"I'm quite satisfied with the silver as well as the performances from my
players," commented Li after Tie Yana and Zhang Rui lost the final 4-1 against
Chinese duo Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia in the final after knocking out Wang Nan and
Chen Qing earlier the day in the semis.
"The Chinese played better spins and more powerful attacks thanus, and we
just tried to score on their errors," said Li.
"It's been even better that Tie and Zhang overcame the other Chinese Wang and
Chen to make the final," she added.
For the first set that the Hong Kong won, Li thought the Chinese might have
just failed to get into the match soon.
