Indian marksman Jaspal Rana won the 25m standard pistol individual gold medal at the 15th Asian Games in Doha today.

The 30-year-old Rana finished with a winning total of 574 points out of a possible 600.

Park Byung Taek from South Korea grabbed the silver medal with a total of 571 points, outshooting Kazakhstan's Vladimir Issachenko by just one point.

In the team final, South Korea took the gold medal with a total of 1,696 points, followed by India with 1,690 points and Thailand 1,686 points.
