Hasan Mahboob of Bahrain held off a late challenge from Qatar's Essa Ismail Rashed to win the men's 10, 000m gold medal at the Doha Asian Games.
Mahboob finished the 25-lap race in 27 minutes 58.88 seconds, just 0.27 seconds ahead of Rashed.
Aadam Ismaeel Isa of Bahrain took bronze in 28:02.08.
