Saudi Arabia earned their third gold on track after Hamdan Awdah Al Bishi won
the men's 400 meters at the Asian Games in Doha on Sunday.
Al Bishi timed 45.64 seconds to edge Bahrain's Brandon Allan Simpson, who had
to settle for the silver on 45.68 after trailing by half a step with only 50
meters to go.
Kuwait's Fawzi Al Shammari won the bronze medal on 46.35, while Japan's Yuzo
Kanemaru came out with the best result from east Asia, clocking 47.13 to finish
fourth.
