China's Huang Shanshan brought home the first ever trampoline gold medal
in the women's individual at the Doha Asian Games here on Tuesday.
Huang collected 38.40 points with a commanding performance. There is only one
routine required at the final.
Huang achieved the highest scores in both of the two routines in
qualification to advance as the top scorer.
Her teammate Zhong Xiongping, the second finisher in qualification, took the
silver with 38.30 points.
Ekaterina Khilko of Uzbekistan settled with a bronze on 36.00 points.
Khilko's teammate Anna Savkina suffered "sudden death" to pick up 7.40 points
only.
