Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski, and EU Foreign Policy Chief
Javier Solana, are heading to Ukraine for a second time to try to resolve the
political crisis, China Radio International reported Wednesday.
At the same time, the US State Department welcomed the proposal by incumbent
Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma to launch a new vote, China Radio
International reported Wednesday.
The move came after opposition party suporters invaded the Ukrainian
parliament, demanding a ballot reversal.
Russia, France and the United States have called for a peaceful resolution to
end the Ukraine's political crisis caused by the disputed presidential election.
