The Palestinian Central Election Committee (CEC) announced here Wednesday the final results of Sunday's presidential vote.

The ratings of the seven candidates came as follows:

Mahmoud Abbas 62.52 percent

Mustafa Barghouti 19.48 percent

Tayseer Khaled 3.35 percent

Abdel-Halim Al-Ashqar 2.76 percent

Bassam Al-Salhi 2.67 percent

Sayyed Hussein Barakeh 1.3 percent

Abdel-Karim Shbair 0.71 percent

The CEC said 802,077 Palestinian voters cast their ballots, accounting for 70 percent of all the eligible.
