As the royal wedding was held on Saturday, a group of devoted Princess Diana fans vented their rage and grief at the gates of her former palace.

"It's a sad day and I believe it's the end of the monarchy. "

"I am a member of the Diana Circle which commemorates her life and wishes to keep her memory alive. We are here because of the sham wedding that is going on to make sure she is not forgotten."

About 15 members of the Diana Circle decked the gates of Kensington Palace in London with flowers and pictures of the princess.

Many Britons blamed Parker Bowles and her relationship with the prince for the break-up of her marriage.
