Kuwaiti parliament head Jasim Mohmmad Al-Kharafi on Thursday condemned deadly
terror blasts in the British capital London, the official KUNA news agency
reported. "These terror acts are contravening all human values and
principles," Al-Kharafi was quoted as saying. The blasts "show the savageness
of those behind them and how distant they are from humanity and Islamic values
and morals," he said, adding the Kuwaiti parliament is supporting all measures
by the British government to eradicate terrorism. He said the Kuwaiti people
strongly condemn the attacks against innocent people of Britain, which stands by
Kuwait in its ordeals, particularly the Iraqi invasion in 1990 and recent terror
acts in Kuwait. At least 33 people have been killed and hundreds injured
after four bomb blasts hit subway stations and a double-decker bus in central
London during morning rush hour.
