Iran condemns London bombings
8/7/2005 9:37
Iran on Thursday condemned fatal terror attacks on London's transport
network, the official IRNA news agency reported. Iranian Foreign Ministry
spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi was quoted as saying in a statement that Iran
disapproves and denounces resorting to terror to reach aims. Asefi termed
terror measures as "inappropriate method" and extended condolences to family
members of those killed and injured. At least 37 people were killed and
hundreds of others injured after four bomb blasts hit subway stations and a
double-decker bus in central London during morning rush hour on Thursday.
