8/7/2005 9:44
The Norwegian Department of Foreign Affairs called up a 15-person emergency
team on Thursday following the explosions in downtown London. Four blasts
rocked the London subway during the morning rush hour Thursday. At least 40
people were killed and more than 360 wounded in the terror attacks. There are
so far no reports of injured Norwegians in the British capital, Norwegian
Broadcasting (NRK) reported. There are normally thousands of Norwegian
holidaymakers in London during the summer vacation. Department officials are
prepared for being called in from their vacation. The air traffic between
Norway and Britain is operating normally, NRK reported.
