8/7/2005 15:45
Macau has set up a hotline for information related to Thursday's terror
attack on London, according to an official statement issued in Macau on
Friday. The statement, issued by the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO),
said the authorities have contacted its representative office in Britain and
local travel agencies to verify whether any Macau resident was affected by the
incident. The MGTO has also revealed the emergency telephone number of the
Chinese Embassy in London, said the statement. Hundreds of Macau citizens are
believed to stay in London, it added. Several bomb blasts rocked the British
capital on Thursday, killing over 30 people and injuring hundreds more.
