China conveys condolences

Chinese President Hu Jintao condemned the terrorist attacks in London and
offered his condolences to the victims and their families. Hu, attending the
G-8 summit in Scotland on Thursday, reiterated the Chinese government's
willingness to strengthen cooperation with the international community to combat
terrorism. In Beijing, Premier Wen Jiabao sent a message of condolence
yesterday to British Prime Minister Tony Blair. In the message, Wen condemned
the terrorist attacks, expressed his grief for the victims, and offered
condolences to the victims' families and the injured.
