Saddam Hussein's daughter has asked to bury her father in Yemen after his
execution, media reported Saturday.
Saddam's daughter Raghd, who is exiled in Jordan, "is asking that his body be
buried in Yemen temporarily until Iraq is liberated and it can be reburied in
Iraq," a source close to the family was quoted as saying by Reuters.
A top Iraqi official said Friday Saddam Hussein will be executed between 5:30
a.m. to 6 a.m. on Saturday, an Iraqi television reported.
The time was agreed upon during an emergency cabinet meeting between U.S. and
Iraqi officials, said the official on condition of anonymity.
On Tuesday, the Iraqi appeals court announced that the court had upheld the
death sentence for Saddam and he would be executed within 30
days.
