Kerry wins states of Washington, New Hampshire

US Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry has won the states of
Washington and New Hampshire in Tuesday's presidential election, according to
projections by US major TV networks.
The two states have a combined 15 electoral votes.
Currently, incumbent Republican President George W. Bush leads Kerry by 246
to 210 electoral votes. A candidate needs at least 270 electoral votes to win
the presidency.
The key battleground state of Ohio, which carries 20 electoral votes, remain
stoo close to call.
