Arafat's health condition gets better: ambassador
7/11/2004 11:36

Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey Foud Yaseen said Saturday that Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's health condition was getting better.
In a meeting held in Ankara, Yaseen said Arafat's health condition was stable.
"Arafat has survived many assassinations during his life. This is a destiny. We pray for his health," he said.
Arafat has been in the intensive care unit of a military hospital outside Paris since Wednesday.
His spokeswoman said earlier on Friday that Arafat was not brain dead but in a reversible coma, amid conflicting reports about the 75-year-old Palestinian leader's health condition.
