Stars of sound and cinema in Canada are getting in on the fundraising act to
help victims of the tsunami, it is reported in Ottawa Thursday. Plans are in
the works for several big concerts, with the proceeds going to various charities
involved in the tsunami relief effort. Canadian record label Nettwerk
Management has enlisted some of its big guns to perform in benefit concerts at
the end of the month. Among the stars who will take part are: Avril Lavigne,
Sarah McLachlan, Sum 41 and the Barenaked Ladies. The concerts will be held on
January 29 in Vancouver and January 31 in Calgary. Canadian Television will
