The government of Indonesia's tsunami-hit Aceh Province says the
international community has pledged to help build 24 large shelters for refugees
in the region.
A local official says Germany promises to help build five
shelters and many world bodies, including the UN's refugee agency, have also
pledged donations to built shelters.
The official adds the construction projects will be favored for contractors
in Aceh, because they are also victims of the tsunamis.
There are more than 370 thousand refugees in Aceh.
