Around 9,000 foreigners are killed,missing or unaccounted for in the tsunami
triggered by a strong earthquake off an Indonesia island.
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 8.7 over the Richter scale according to
China's State Seismological Bureau, occurred at 06:58 a.m. (0058 GMT) on Dec. 26
off the west coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. The death toll now is
more than 145,000.????
