Indonesia Sunday reported 5,000 more deaths caused by the Dec. 26 devastating
earthquake and tsunami, raising the overall death toll to more than 162,000.
A statement of the country's Social Affairs Ministry said the 5,000
additional deaths came from the village of Calang on Sumatra's northwest coast.
So far 12,132 people were still missing, 925 were hospitalized and 603,518
were still displaced, the ministry said.
