French Foreign Minister Michel Barnier said Monday that the number of French
nationals from whom there's still no news after the Asian tsunamis dropped to
50. "At the present time, we are still without news from about 50 of our
fellow citizens," Barnier told reporters after talks with his Italian
counterpart Gianfranco Fini. "The figure has been revised down," Barnier
added in comparison with the number he declared on Jan. 12. He reaffirmed the
number of the French nationals dead and missing had not changed: 22 dead and 74
