Zarqawi group says two Iraqis beheaded

The al-Qaida linked group in Iraq,led by most wanted Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, showed a video on an Islamic website on Friday that it has beheaded two Iraqis who "confessed" to working at a US base.

The men, who identified themselves as Ali Hussein Jassem Mohammad al-Zubaidi and Ahmad Alwan Hussein al-Mahmadawi, said they were residents of Sadr City, according to the video posted by theJihad in the Land of Two Rivers.

They said they worked at a US base in Ramadi, a restive citywest of Baghdad.

Violence has been mounting in the war-torn country as the Jan.30 elections draw near.
