Jordanian Foreign Ministry spokesman Rajb Al Saqari said on Tuesday that
released Jordanian hostage Abu Fatala would return from Iraq to the country, the
state-run Petra news agency reported.
The spokesman said Fatala had been released but would stay in Iraq for one
day because the Iraqi government had closed the borders with Jordan, which was
expected to be re-opened on Wednesday.
Fatala was taken hostage in Iraq last week, together with two Indonesian
journalists, who were released on Monday. Enditem
