Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Jasim Mohmmad al-Kharafi condemned
on Sunday the terror acts that targeted Lebanon recently.
In a cable of condolences to his Lebanese counterpart Nabih Berri, Kharafi
expressed deep regret and sadness for the continuous terror attacks in Lebanon,
wishing Lebanon peace, safety and security.
He also asserted the parliament's support for Lebanon in combating all types
of terror.
In the past week, three explosions have rocked Lebanon, killing four people
and wounding dozens of others.
Lebanon has plunged into a political turbulence since the assassination of
former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri on Feb. 14.
