The Kyrgyz parliament has postponed its discussion of ousted President Askar
Akayev's resignation until Wednesday.
Parliamentary Speaker Omurbek
Tyekebayev said that the president's resignation has not been accepted yet.
Akayev will remain Kyrgyzstan's legitimate president until parliament's
decision.
Parliament had planned to discuss Akayev's resignation on Tuesday.
Akayev fled the country to Russia on March 24 when opposition supporters
stormed the main government building in Bishkek. On Monday, he signed a letter
of resignation in the Kyrgyz Embassy in Moscow.
