China presented a joint document draft for the six-party talks, according to
an official with the delegation of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in Beijing
Saturday.
The official, who is unwilling to be named, said deputy heads of the six
delegations will discuss the draft.
Heads of the six delegations, namely, China, the Democratic People's Republic
of Korea (DPRK), the United States, the ROK, Russia and Japan, held a
no-more-than-one-hour meeting from 11:20 am Saturday, according to the press
center of the talks.
Also Saturday, the Chinese delegation held bilateral meetings with the DPRK
and the United States, respectively, while the DPRK and the United States also
held a one-on-one meeting.
The fourth round of six-party talks, aiming to solve the Korean Peninsular
nuclear issue, began Tuesday morning.
