Doctors at Hunan Provincial Children's Hospital use a video monitor to check the condition of China's eighth bird flu patient, a 6-year-old boy surnamed Ouyang. The child developed fever and pneumonia symptoms on December 19.  Previously in critical condition, Ouyang can now communicate with doctors and take liquid nourishment. A WHO disease expert says bird flu could be passing from person to person in Turkey. - Xinhua news
