A nurse cares for quadruplets in a maternity hospital affiliated with Fudan University in Shanghai. A 27-year-old Jiangsu Province mother, Yang Chunyan, delivered the first baby, a girl weighing 1.92 kilograms, at 8:50am yesterday, followed by two boys and another girl. Doctors said the babies were all in stable condition. A government report estimates China's population is expected to grow by 200 million within the next three decades. - Shanghai Daily
