Palestinian medical sources reported on Saturday that four Palestinians, including a couple, were shot and wounded by Israeli troops' gunfire in the southern Gaza town of Rafah.
Palestinian witnesses said that Israeli troops stationed near the Jewish settlements of Morag and Rafeya Yam opened intensive gunfire at local residents' houses, wounding four people.
The medics said that the couple aged 24 and 21 respectively were moderately injured and were admitted at Rafah town's hospital.
Another old woman and a 14-year-old boy were shot and wounded by the Israeli soldiers' gunfire later on Saturday evening.
