the first quarter of the year, with online complaints up 98 percent and

market watchdog.
The Administration of Industry and Commerce said yesterday
that its complaint hotline 12315 received 283 complaints for online shopping in
the first three months, mainly concerning after sale service, forged business
documents and commercial frauds.
There were 490 complaints about membership
shopping, mainly involving service operators, such as gyms and clubs who
allegedly randomly change the services available or commit fraud.
Other areas
featured on the complaint list are telecom services and products, sales service,
transportation, air-conditioners, clothes, the Internet and food.
