Little Smart numbers released downtown

Shanghai Telecom Corp., the city's only fixed-line phone service
operator, began to make numbers available in the downtown areas today for its
cordless phone service Little Smart, today's Laodong Daily reported.
With a
monthly rental charge of 30 yuan (US$3.6), the service charges 0.22 yuan for the
first three minutes of a call and 0.11 yuan for each additional
minute.
Meanwhile, four Little Smart packages are available at monthly
charges of 30 yuan, 38 yuan, 48 yuan and 68 yuan.
Users prepaying certain
telecom fees will get be able to choose from a selection of Little Smart phones
of varying values for free.
