The Shanghai Maple Automobile Co Ltd will market a new sedan model this year, Hysoul 205, catering to the city's fashionable ladies, the automaker announced yesterday.
The vehicle will carry a price tag of around 100,000 yuan (US$12,091).
As well, another new model, Marindo 305, will go on sale in the fourth quarter, the company said.  The model will be equipped with a 1.8-litre engine.
Engaged in developing and manufacturing vehicles with the so-called "Shanghai Spirit", Shanghai Maple Automobile is the third auto company in Shanghai licensed to produce cars.
