On December 17, the year's last auction of private auto licenses is expected to see the release of 5,700 plates, Eastday.com reported today.
The total plate quota for this year comes in at 67,078, 4,500 less than that for last year.
After hitting close to record-low's in October, the price at last month's auction rebounded to 30,320 yuan (US$3666.26).
The registration procedure for the coming auction commences on Dec. 10.
