New Red Flag sedan

With its latest Red Flag sedan hitting the marketplace on March 1, FAW
Car Co Ltd is already developing a brand-new model for the China-patent auto
series, today's Beijing Times reported.
The report, citing FAW Car officials,
said the company has rolled out a timetable for the new model, which will be
produced at its new manufacturing center.
The center, costing 1.8 billion
yuan (US$218 million) and occupying 1.3 million square meters, will have a
yearly capacity of 300,000 cars.
Part of the center will be put in operation
this June.
The first phase of the center is designed for an output of 100,000
vehicles.
