13/6/2003 16:07

Demand for senior managers gradually declined in the local labor market last month, with 9.74 percent of jobs recruiting senior managers, down 1.12 percentage points from a month before, according to a leading job recruitment website - www.zhaoping.com, the Youth Post reported today.

Sales people continued to account for the largest proportion of jobs last month.

According to statistics, 12.6 percent of jobs were recruiting senior managers in February this year, with the proportion dipping to 12 percent in March, 10.86 percent in April and 9.74 percent in May.

The proportion is expected to soar by the end of the year, said an industry analyst.

Job hunters are currently willing to try various kinds of jobs, with client services people ranking in the top ten popular jobs for the first time, the analyst said.

The number of job-hunters in design, commercial trade, insurance, securities, investment and website management sectors was on the rise last month, according to statistics.
