Some new jobs, such as private life assistant and telephone consulting service provider, have appeared in the local labor market in the first nine months of the year, according to the Shanghai Employment Service Center yesterday, the Shanghai Morning Post reported today.
Market demand for telephone consulting service providers is soaring in Shanghai this year, with 1,500 such jobs recruited over the past nine months, eighth among all the local jobs.
The booming development of telephone services, such as paging service, consumption service, labor security service and judicial service, has provided many job opportunities for telephone consulting service providers, said an industry analsyt.
Private life assistants, such as medical-care service providers, have also gained popularity in the city. They usually accompany residents or their family members to doctors, or medical consultations, and deliver drugs.
