Now that the low season for job recruiting has passed, many multi-national companies in Shanghai are starting their talent-hunts for 2005 on campus. These interviews will likely continue till October according to employment agencies and websites.

Yang Chaohui, general manager of ChinaHR.Com Shanghai Branch, reveals that ChinaHR.Com has been advised of recruitment activities from several well-known multi-national companies, indicating the start of a talent-hunting battle among these companies. 

Many companies postpone their recruitment plans until late September or October.  There were several large comprehensive job fairs held at the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the Shanghai Indoor Stadium, the Hongkou Football Stadium and the Shanghai Everbright Convention and Exhibition Center last Saturday, with more than 200 recruitment companies attending each fair.
