Local office workers no longer need to crowd to banks at weekends thanks to several bank outlets offering night services as of yesterday, today's Shanghai Morning Post reported.
Four sub-branches with the Bank of China (BOC)'s Shanghai branch began to offer night services as of yesterday: Grand Gateway Sub-branch (operating till 20:15); No.3 Sub-branch of Nanjing Road W. (operating till 20:15); Tianyaqiao Road Sub-branch (operating till 21:00) and No.2 Sub-branch of Huaihai Road M. (operating till 20:30).
The banks offering night services mainly provide personal financial services, mainly money withdrawals or deposits, transferring business within the BOC system, and loss-reporting for bankbooks and cards.
