The first Brazil-China non-stop flight from Beijing to San Paulo by way of
Munich will take off this July, reported today's Oriental Morning Post.
The
news was released at the opening ceremony for the Shanghai Representative Center
of the Brazil-China Chamber of Industry and Commerce yesterday
afternoon.
Huang Haicheng, Chamber chairperson, explained that the non-stop
flight is targeted at Brazilians who intend to visit Beijing and Shanghai for
the Olympics 2008 and the World Expo 2010.
At the same time, tour packages
covering three to eight Brazilian cities in five to 14 days are being promoted
during the ceremony. The tour, including air fare, costs 11 000 to
12 000 yuan (US$1451), with local reception fees at around US$100 to 120.
