A pioneer tourist group heading for Tunis will set off this August 2,
reported today's Youth Daily.
Tunis has become a new travel destination for
local people after it signed an ADS (Approved Destination Status) agreement with
China at the end of last year.
The Sahara and the Mediterranean Sea are the
top two scenic sights in Tunis. Its historical relics dating back to over
3 000 years, and the 1 300 kilometers coastline, attract numerous European
visitors every year.
However, out of a yearly total of 6 million visitors,
less than 900 are from China.
To make the first tour more satisfying, Greece,
Italy and Malta have all been added to the list of destinations.
This group
is waiting to enroll 20 people.
