Which do you prefer, the fantastic Disney Theme Park in Hong Kong, the exploration of the magic world of Harry Potter in England, or the true feeling of the Sound of Music in Austria?
These are the questions faced by local travel-lovers in deciding where to go during the Christmas holiday, when they have been targeted by several foreign agencies at the same time.
China's abundant potential tourists were not seen as a priority by tour operators in many European countries, even after several agreements governing Chinese travel to Western countries were signed last September.
This was mainly due to differences in festivals and culture  between the West and the East.
The frequent cold-shoulder from local travelers to recent European tours, however, has aroused a response from these western travel agencies.
Now, even a five-member mini-group tour is available.
A tour package to London (around fours days), consisting of a round-trip ticket and accommodation, is priced at only 6,000-odd yuan (US$725.51) per person.
Another competitive offering is the 8,000 yuan/person for five nights' accommodation and round-trip ticket to Paris.
In addition, an exciting tour venturing into the Arctic Circle and visiting Santa Claus's Village and post offices is being promotion by Finland.
