Tours to nearby attractions satisfactory

A little more than 83 percent of local residents are satisfied with the
tours offered by the Shanghai Tourism Gathering Center, which offers various
kinds of tours to cities and towns near Shanghai, the Labor Post reported
today.
More than 83 percent of Shanghainese are satisfied with the bus
stations, tour guides and scenic spots, according to a survey.
The
center, located in the Shanghai Stadium, has done a good job with ticket
services, according to many locals.
All the tour guides have professional
certificates and the itinerary is always well organized, said some
locals.
Some 25 percent of locals complain about the impersonal nature of
the tours. "Sometimes the tour guides don't even greet the tourists or bid them
farewell, and often forget to introduce scenic spots to them," said some
Shanghainese.
