Large discounts offered on out-of-town tours

The Shanghai Sightseeing Bus Center will offer up to 72 percent of
discounts on tours out of the city after the end of SARS, the Xinmin Evening
News reported yesterday.
The discounts, ranging from 12 percent to 72
percent, will be offered on 49 travel itineraries on July 12, 13, 19 and 20,
with each itinerary allowed to take 90-5,000 tourists, according to the Shanghai
Sightseeing Bus Center.
The itineraries offering large discounts include
one-day tour to Wuxi, one or two-day tour to Suzhou and two-day tour to Suzhou
and Hangzhou, according to the center.
