More than 200 locals today pioneered the trip to Europe, the Youth Post reported.
The Shanghai Jinjiang International Travel Co Ltd organized five initial tours to Europe today, with around 200 tourists. Three flight-chartering tours are bound to 15 countries for ten days, and with cheap prices, they are attracting a lot of attention in the market.
"If the number of air-tickets increases, we can organize more of such tours," said a spokesman with the Shanghai Jinjiang International Travel Co Ltd.
Other tours leaving with Jinjiang today are the special tours to France and Italy and a four-day trip to Northern Europe.
The Shanghai China Youth Travel Service Tour Corporation will launch a tour covering France, Italy and Switzerland on September 3.
In order to avoid illegal stays, domestic travel agencies are required to collect deposits valued at 30,000 - 50,000 yuan (US$3,600-US$6,000) from each tourist.
