Yesterday, the "Flying beds", purported to be the world's largest, debuted on
the planes of Virgin Atlantic, the Shanghai Morning Post reported.
The new
flying beds, each over 2 meters long and 1.8 meters wide, are worth 60 million
pounds.
The seats on the plane will turn into a bed automatically at
the push of a button on the side of the seat. This bed is reported to be
wider by at least 30.48 cm., compared to the flying beds on other
airlines.
China East Airline is using a chair that can be extended to 180
degrees. Air France is increasing the personal space in their Business
Classes by 27 percent.
Recently, many airline companies from home and abroad
have been competing intensely to provide passengers with the most comfortable
overnight flights.
