To deal with the huge increase in the passenger volume through the entry and exit of the migrants in the Pudong International Airport, 10 additional corridors were put into use yesterday, said today's Oriental Morning Post.
Since the beginning of the spring transportation, the number of migrants to board in Pudong International Airport soars from 30,000 to 45,000 per day, the flights there at the same time increasing to 300. 
The opening of the 10 additional exit corridors in the northern area of the waiting hall in the airport will to some extend relieve the heavy burden in the waiting area caused by the over long waiting lines.
The high peak for air traffic will remain in the city for over 10 days during the Spring Festival, indicated one police in the airport, the passenger volume per day of this year during the high peak might hit record high.
