It is impossible for the Zhengzhou subsidiary to produce milk which exceeds
its "best before" date, and all the milk sold in Shanghai is safe to drink,
announced Wang Jiafen, director board of Shanghai Bright Dairy & Food Co Ltd
yesterday, as cited in today's eastday.com.
Wang made the announcement to
dispel the recent report by the Henan Television Station hinting that the
Zhengzhou subsidiary has re-processed the milk exceeding its "best before" date
and then sold it on the market.
Wang confessed, however, that there are
actually management problems with the Zhengzhou subsidiary. The vice president,
the general quality supervisor and the regional general manager have been sent
from Shanghai to investigate the Zhengzhou subsidiary, which is also being
checked by the sanitation, industrial and commercial departments of Henan
Province.
"Please examine and believe in Bright," Wang stressed.
