Father's Day: an excuse for discounts?

Father's Day, this Sunday, might be ignored by all but shopping buffs.
The festival, on the third Sunday of June, was previously far less significant than Mother's Day, which is a month earlier. This year is no exception.

Father's Day should be a day when people give a blessing to their fathers, rather than being regarded as a business opportunity, said an industry analyst.
