More zero-tax Taiwanese fruit is arriving in Shanghai, as the second batch of
imports hits the market today, the Eastday.com reported.
This batch consists
of 30 tons in six varieties, including mango, carambola and wax apple, and sells
at prices 10 percent lower than when taxable.
The trade will become regular,
with the fruit entering Shanghai each week, and a total monthly supply of 30
tons, the same report said.
The local market response has been good, with the
first batch selling-out in five days, according to importers.
