According to the Shanghai Welfare Lottery Ticket Distribution Centre, a soaring number of tickets are being purchased by white-collar workers as a direct result of the online and telephone ticket sales services introduced in January, today's Oriental Morning Post reports.
Mr. Deng, Director of the center, revealed that more retail terminals will be made avaiable to attract white-collar buyers, for whose convenience the self-service lottery ticket machines will be placed in grade 'A' office buildings next year. The 'Lottery Keno' will hit local pubs, teahouses and cafes around Chinese National Day.
